Can any one shed any light on this...i have been pestering Joerg with this!!!
I can install V5, but when it runs the ProfileWizard it just hangs, this is on a HP Laptop with Vista. I have administrator rights and the files are writable (.ini) etc etc...both of the Versions run on my daughters Laptop running vista.
Beta6 runs but when i try to import from an Acc-Chek Smart Pix again it just Hangs, you can`t import no browser screen nothing..
Ok....I have this sorted for V6, in the folder SiDiary right click on the
sidiary.exe file, properties, click on Compatibility, tick in box Run this
program as an administrator, click apply click ok. Go to folder Bin and do the same for file SiDiaryWP.exe. Go to folder MeterDriver
and do the same for AccuCheSmartPix.exe driver.
This now works all aspects of V6.!!!! This is strange as i am logged on as Administrator on this machine, so why i have to set the properties of the files is beyond me.
So i thought all i have to do is the same for all .exe files in V5 and this
will work!! NO! still just get`s to the ProfileWizard and hangs!
Your thoughts on this would interest me.
