I've sent _many_ , _really many_ update-info emails for the release from today and my mailbox just exploded for bounced emails! 

Nothing to say against protecting your personal email addresses with spam cops and naturally there probably comes the point that you even have to deactivate your email account if the spam quota is too high but ...

...PLEASE consider to unsubscribe with your old email address if it's not valid anymore.

If you don't like to be notified about updates or hotfixes...

SiDiary can be downloaded without the need to leave just a single email address, so why are you giving me unreachable nonsense?

Da kann ich Dir nur zustimmen. So Adressen, wie von Dir beschrieben, sind ein Armutszeugnis derjenigen, die Dein tolles Produkt () mit Füssen treten

Please consider to just check "I don't want to get hotfix / update notifications" instead of giving me nonsense email addresses.

(Or give me at least a lough with addresses like the one from above instead of a@a.com or test@test.com - that's boring...)

Did you check it out? I don't believe, that Donald himself has done the download (probably Daisy would, who knows ), but if someone is quick enough it's indeed possible to get these mail-account. (elvis.presley@diabetesinfo.de is still possible - and why not? I am the :king: )

zu sehen bekommt, ohne dass der Download startet. Es funktioniert erst, wenn eine eMailadresse angegeben wurde. Es ist klar, dass viele nicht ihre (wirkliche) eMailadresse angeben wollen, wo doch soviel Schindluder damit getrieben wird.
Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber ich meine in einer CT etwas älterer Ausgabe mal gelesen zu haben, dass das Sammeln von personenbezogenen Daten, die für einen Dienst nicht notwendig sind, nach dem Datenschutzgesetz nicht erlaubt ist. (Es ging um Abmahnungen in Rahmen von Newsletteranmeldeeingabemasken, die mehr als die notwendige emailadresse gefordert haben.)

Es wäre doch schade, wenn das herrliche Projekt Sidiary an soetwas besch*** scheitern sollte.

Das hatte ich auch mal gedacht. Geh mal die Seite, gib nichts ein und mach aber ein Häkchen bei "Ich möchte nicht über Hotfixes / Updates benachrichtigt werden". Dann kannst du den Download auch starten.

Ich denke genauso wird es anderen gehen, die nicht so ein Vertrauen in die InternetSpamGötter haben wie ich  .
